Willyn Webb is a Western Colorado native, born and raised on horseback in the Delta, Colorado, area. She comes from a long line of Western Colorado pioneers. Willyn has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Humanities and a secondary teaching certificate from Mesa State College, a Master's Degree in school counseling from Adam's State College and additional Master's work to be a Licensed Professional Counselor.
She has taught all ages-kindergarten through adult. She was an adjunct professor at Adams State College, teaching a class on Solutioning, a problem solving process she developed. She has several published books including: The Educator's Guide to Solutioning and Solutioning: Solution-focused Interventions for Counselors and a children's book, Baby, the Poodle Cow Dog, a true story inspired by one of her daughters and their poodle, Baby.
Willyn is currently writing her third solutioning book, Solutioning through Scripture adding a Biblical perspective and her personal testimony.
Willyn is married to Jim Webb and they have three daughters. Besides working as a full time counselor and teacher and writing, she enjoys working in her church and running marathons. |
